Prop/Costume

The location we have in mind for our thriller is an old library or museum, which will already be full of all the props we need, so we won't have to worry about dressing the set. All we really need to get is a few pieces of costume;
-smart stiletto shoes
-smart trousers/skirt and tights

Location thoughts!

We searched on google for various locations that we thought would be creepy, and appropriate for our thriller project. Whilst searching we had in mind places such as old churches, museums, libraries and old castles. Here are some images of locations that we thought would give the right effect for a thriller.

We thought that these images were good locations for a thriller as they were eerie and mysterious... We felt that these locations would build tension when accompanied by the soundtrack and the way the clips are edited.

Story Boarding

We learnt how to story board by watching a previous students thrillers then pausing it, we quickly sketched what we saw on the screen.

Final Cut and Garage Band

When researching Thriller title sequences we learnt how to use Final Cut, and practiced making a title sequence with ready made footage. In Final Cut we were able to add text to the opening titles, so that credits could be shown in the final sequence. When creating the title sequence in final cut we could fade out clips to view others by using nodes.

We then used Garage Band to create a soundtrack to add on to it. Though my (chloe's) computer wasn't working, so my video has no sound!!!
